Welcome to Hants Crafters Showcase!

Our showcase offers only locally handcrafted gifts, clothing and artwork.

Located in the seaside Heritage Village of Maitland, Nova Scotia, once one of Canada's major shipbuilding centres, the Showcase is a great destination for tourists and locals alike.  The pace is never hurried here, and we encourage visitors to stroll along our picturesque main street, stay in a quaint Bed & Breakfast, visit our local art Gallery 215, and perhaps indulge in a self-guided Walking Tour of our historic buildings from several periods. 

The feel of our sea-going history is all around us, reflected in the Lawrence House Museum, and the nearby Tidal Interpretive Centre in South Maitland.  Follow the dyke path behind the shop to a convenient Tidal Viewing point and enjoy the world famous Bay of Fundy's Tidal Bore every 12 hours, 12 months a year.  Stop at Frieze & Roy's General Store for the makings of a picnic at Dawson Dowell Park, or enjoy a meal and music at Bing's Eatery & Social, even purchase fresh locally grown seasonings at Riverview Herbs.

Additionally, her years of involvement with the nearby Gallery 215 & her own craft shop has acquainted her with many local artisans, allowing her to build an eclectic selection of high-quality, hand crafted goods & gifts.  In the Crafter's Showcase you'll find beautiful samples of local Nova Scotia talent, attractively presented and affordably priced.
